Cool App: SharePod

A few days ago I tried a new cool application for the iPod. It's really great so it's worth to write about it in the blog.

Have you always try to copy your music to your computer? Yes... but it's a great effort to do it using iTunes, so no more painfully bad times, thanks to the developer Jeffrey Harris. He developed a program called SharePod, it's very simple to use, you can copy from your iPod to the PC and from the iPod to the PC without any trouble. So give it a try http://www.getsharepod.com.

The version I tried it's 3.8.7, I will wait for your comments.

Where is my eth0 in ubuntu linux?

Last week I had big trouble with a server running Ubuntu Linux. This server was running as a virtual machine in a VMWare, then we moved to other server and we lost all network connections.
So we panic, the users start to call, etc...

The error is see when I tried to start the interfce was:

SIOCSIFADDR: No such device eth0
eth0: ERROR while getting interface flags: No such device

So you just have to do this steps:
1.- Ran "ifconfig -a" and copy the mac address.
2.- Edit the file "etc/iftab" and change the mac address.
3.- Reboot the computer.

I hope this post is usefull to somebody, because it took me a little long to find it in google.

My First Post

Hi, this is my first blog post, so I don't know what to write. So this I will decide later. Meanwhile I can start by telling that I live in Guatemala, a nice country and that I'm a computer developer, mostly in Java language and my principal hobby is to play guitar, so maybe I will be writing about software development and music.
